Pastor Finds Dog Alive Four Days After Fire: In Illinois, Rev. David Reasby is beaming from ear to ear. After a fire ripped through his church on Friday, his beloved pooch was found alive inside the church four days later. Arson inspectors had just completed an investigation and as they walked through the Lighthouse Full Gospel Baptist Church, Lil Bit, the chihuahua, followed the group out of the building. Reasby believed that Lil Bit had perished in the fire. Lil Bit has been with Reasby and his family for over 10 years. They had been contemplating placing a cross and flowers outside the building in memory of their dog.
Aggressive People Choose Aggressive Dogs
A new study took a look at owners of German shepherds, Rottweilers, Labrador retrievers and golden retrievers. German shepherds and Rottweilers are more aggressive dogs than labs and golden retrievers. Owners of the former two scored higher in psychoticism, a personality trait of aggressiveness.
I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me they are the role model for being alive.
KittyCam Technology Reveals How Much Wildlife Is Killed By Outdoor Cats
- The results of the study showed that of the 60 cats wearing the cameras, 30% captured and killed prey with an average of one kill for every 17 hours spent outside, or 2.1 kills per week.
- The study also showed that cats bring home less than one quarter of their kills, so owners aren’t fully aware of just what kind of slaughter is going on in their own yards.
- It is estimated that cat predation is one of the reasons why one in three American bird species are in decline.
The problem with cats is that they get the same exact look whether they see a moth or an ax murderer.
One cat just leads to another.
